PROTECTING FROM GHOSTS, JAI MAA KALI

The thing is very old.  At that time villagers mostly used bullock carts etc. to get from one place to another.  Whatever the auspicious festival, or any purpose, the biggest fair seemed to be in place and people used to start preparing about 10-15 days in advance to go to the fair.  Some people used to make a round on foot and go out at night after eating and drinking and reach the place of fair in the morning.  Some people used to drive bullock carts etc.  These people would sometimes walk 10-12 kos to the fair and from there spade, sickle, handle (water-lifting device), kudi  Is extracted) etc. They used to buy Pahansul, Loda etc. along with farming goods as well as other things made of bamboo along with Osoni.  Every family did not forget to buy wooden toys and tricycles for their young children.

It is not that fairs do not take place today but modernity has completely taken over today's fairs and at the same time they have gone far away from the traditional ones, but the fairs of that time had their own specialty.  People used to wait for a fair to take place at a particular place to buy certain things.  Before starting the whole story of ghosts, I am remembering a small interesting ghost story and I think it is necessary to tell it here - once some people of my village ate and drank at night, tied sticks, rugs, satua etc. and went to the fair.  They had to go about 7-8 kos away.  Night time and the sky dazzled by the moonlight.  Some fields were laden with yellow mustard flowers and four moons in the beauty of nature.  The people of my village were increasingly going through the fast-moving roads, ridges, etc., singing and lighting fast.  On the way there was a ditch, they crossed the ditch but what do you see that they used to come back to the ditch again and again.  When this incident happened to them two or three times, they felt that they were being deceived by a forgotten ghost.  In fact, it is said about forgetful ghosts that these people do not harm people but disturb them by misleading them.  Then what happened, then an old man of the same goal took out his challenge, made a cigarette and said Jai ho bhulauna baba, put a little tobacco there and took Hanumanji's name and went ahead again, well this time he escaped from bhulauna (wandering)  Were.

Well, the problem of this goal going to the fair was not taking the name of being less.  A river used to fall on the way to the fair but its embankment was very small and these days it used to have a handful of water in it and any villager could easily cross it, but on the day when these people reached the river bank  The jet seemed to be about 1 mile wide and the water was rippling in that moonlit night.  These people did not understand anything and no sailor or boat was seen nearby.  These people stopped 10 meters before the river and sat there waiting for the morning to come.  Well, in the morning, these people found out that the river is about 100 meters away and it is looking very thin.  In fact, mustard was in full bloom in the fields on the banks of the river and when the wind blew, the yellow flowers of mustard waved, so they had the feeling of water in the river, but here also another forgetful ghost joked with them and made them forget.  .  Now everyone in this circle was thinking that if we had moved forward with a little courage at night, we would have known that these are mustard fields without increasing the river bank.  Well, at that time, forgetful ghosts used to harass people by doing such antics, so this was not a new thing.

Well in the morning these people started walking fast again and by noon they reached a big garden, about 1 kos from that garden there was another big garden (bari) in which the fair used to take place.  But as soon as they started entering this first garden, they were very surprised because the shops in this garden also started to be decorated.  These people had no idea what to do.  Well, he asked a shopkeeper if the fair is going to be held in this garden this year, so the shopkeeper nodded yes and resumed his work.  Well, there was a small well in this garden and also a small place of the goddess nearby.  This garden was also very large and spread over an area of about 2-3 kos.  Even in the daytime, the whole kingdom of darkness seemed.  These people reached the well and did datun etc. and after kneading the flour etc. they made litti there and started resting after eating.  In fact, the shops were being decorated and the fair was buzzing in the evening.  Lamps were lit at every shop and lukare (torch) was also lit at some trees.

In the evening when these people of my village went out to the fair, it seemed strange to them because they did not see any person from their village in that fair, they were very surprised because at least 2 of my village  -3 Gol and many of the nearby villages came to the Gol Mela, some went before the Gol village and some later, but no person of identity was visible.  The shopkeepers also looked strange and their antics were also strange.  Among the people of our village was an elderly Yadavji.  He was beginning to understand something now.  He instructed all the people of the village to stay together and said that they should slowly move towards Dera.  We are trapped in the clutches of ghosts.  This is not our fair, this is a fair to ghosts and if we do not act wisely, our lives may be in danger.

I don't know, when these people started moving towards that well, the shopkeepers also started following them one by one.  Along with their gestures, their shapes and types also started changing. Now they had started coming in their own form and had also started doing scary antics.  Then that old man of my village told the people to go towards the well without looking back, without fear and reach the place of the goddess and beg for the mother goddess.  Well, the ghosts started doing even more scary things, started breaking the branches of the trees and also did strange things.  But the people of my village rushed towards that well without any fear and as soon as they reached the well, they took out slippers etc. near Devi Than built there and started glorifying Goddess Mother.  A strangely frightening situation had arisen in that garden, the darkness was completely covered and the branches of the trees were rapidly colliding with each other.  The people of Mer village had now joined hands and bowed down at that Devi Than.  Everyone's eyes were closed and they were just begging for their lives from Goddess Mother.

Ghosts had also gathered nearby but no one was trying to come near this place but they were trying to scare these people from afar.  Suddenly a strong wind blew, it felt like an earthquake in the whole garden, the branches of some trees broke and fell with a loud noise.  And as soon as I saw it, the melodious voice of a woman resounded in the ears of my villagers, “Get up, what are you doing lying here, the fair is in that garden.  I also went to the same garden. ”  After this, the lives of my villagers came to life.  Now there was peace in the garden but no one could see them.  Then a wonderful light appeared. As soon as the light appeared, the elder of my village said that I should pack my things and follow this light without delay.

Then the people of my village packed up and followed the light.  When they reached the fair garden, the light disappeared.  Now the people of my village were breathing a sigh of relief as it was almost late at night and the fair was also held in this garden.  As soon as he entered this round fair of our village, while buying Harish, he found Ramesar Baba of my village.  Then Ramesar Baba took this goal of my village and went to Dera where other goals of my village also came and stayed.  Then these people left their belongings there and went to the fair.  In fact, the advantage of building a dera was that everyone had the responsibility to stay at this dera for 1-2 hours and people would bring their belongings and purchased goods here and then go to the fair and if anyone had anything to eat or drink.  If it happened, he would come here, i.e. at the camp itself.

This fair lasted for months.  Well the next morning I reached the organizers of the fair with the elderly villagers of my village and told them the incident of the night.  The organizers of the fair said that we do not organize the fair in that garden because there is a lot of ghost camp in that garden.  No one wants to go to that garden alone even during the day.  The ghosts of that garden have haunted many people.  Then that old man from my village said why do we need to be afraid of ghosts.  In that garden is the place of a goddess mother, there is also a well.  Because you people organize the fair there by organizing worship etc. at that Devi Than.  Mother will protect us all and even the ghosts will have to be nine-two-eleven from there.  The organizers of the fair checked this very much and they thought that if the mother comes from that garden to enjoy the fair in this garden, then why not organize the fair in the same garden.

Since then, a fair has started in this garden.  Mother's grace is on everyone.  A small temple has also been built at Maa's place, the whole garden becomes mamaya during the fair.  The burning of incense sticks and camphor makes the whole garden atmosphere divine.
