 Born - 14 July 1856, Tembhu (near Karad, Dist. Satara)

 Primary Education - Karad

 Matriculation - Akola

 1878 - Degree - Fellow at Deccan College.

 1879 - M.  A.  Introduction with Tilak while doing.

 January 1, 1880 - New English School is established in Pune with the help of Tilak and Vishnushastri Chiplunkar.

 1881 - In collaboration with Tilak - Kesari and Maratha.

 Tilak and Agarkar sentenced to 101 days in Kolhapur Barve case

 1881-1887 - Editor of Kesari.  Resigned in 1887.

 January 1, 1883 - Participated in the establishment of a new Marathi University.  In memory of Vishnushastri.

 October 24, 1884 - Participated in the establishment of the Deccan Education Society - Tilak, Vamanrao, Apte, Madhavrad Namjoshi, Vasudev Balkrishna Kelkar, Mahadev Shivram Gore, Narayan Krishna Dharap, Sonche were the main patrons and presidents - Shahu Maharaj of Kolhapur.

 Other writings - (1) Articles in the newspaper 'Va-Haad Samachar' in Akola, (2) Agarkar, the Marathi editor of 'Sudharak', and Gopal Krishna Gokhale in English, (3) The famous article 'Women should wear jackets', (4) Hindustan's  State for whom?  This essay criticized the British.
